Photos

The photo sets from 2008 are almost every photo that were taken on each field investigation.  Redundant photos or photos that were too dark or blurry were left out of the sets.  The photos have been reduced to 25% of their original size in order to speed up download time and were sharpened.   These were the only adjustments made.  If you are interested in further analysis of any of the photos, you may contact Shelli and she can send you the original size photo with no adjustments made.

There are photos of interest as well as photos that are not paranormal in nature.

Photos that are "of interest" - For those that are curious as to what photos we have that are considered to be "of interest", we will add them here as they come in.   We are not claiming these to be paranormal in nature but they could be.  We are just simply saying that we consider them to be "of interest".  Photos may come and go from this area depending on our final decisions on them.  These are currently being considered by the group and research will be involved as well as every attempt to duplicate these situations in order to determine their credibility as either paranormal or not.  You can keep an eye on our blog where we will be discussing why these photos are here and how our attempts at duplicating the situations is going.

Private Residence #001, Undisclosed location, July 8, 2008 - Mike, Pepper (Shelli), Becky & Jonathan investigate a private residence in an undisclosed location in Tarrant County.  Although we did not capture any photos of interest at this location, we did however learn a valuable and hilarious lesson about electromagnetic fields.  ;)

Private Residence #003, Undisclosed location, July 8, 2008 - Mike, Pepper (Shelli), Becky & Jonathan investigate a private residence in an undisclosed location in Tarrant County.  Although we did not capture any photos of interest at this location, we did however capture one E.V.P. that is located on our E.V.P.'s pages.

Private Residence #002, Undisclosed location, July 8, 2008 - Mike, Pepper (Shelli), Becky & Jonathan investigate a private residence in an undisclosed location in Tarrant County.  Although we did not capture any photos of interest at this location, we did however capture three E.V.P.'s that are located on our E.V.P.'s pages.

Fort Worth Stockyards, The Coliseum & Miss Molly's, June 5, 2008 - Mike, Pepper (Shelli) & Alicia visit the Fort Worth Stockyards and take a tour of The Coliseum, have some ice cold water at Risky's to cool off and then head down to visit Miss Molly's and turn in evidence from our pre-investigation walk-through from May.  For the record.... it was HOT AS HADES on this trip!  Whew!  Photos contributed by Mike, Pepper & Alicia.

Fort Worth Stockyards photos by Alicia, May 23, 2008 - Alicia & her friend visit the Fort Worth Stockyards and take a stroll around the area as well as visit her contacts to set up some potential investigations for our group.  Although there are no photos of paranormal interest, it gives us a great look at the area and of some of the locations that we will soon be investigating!  Thank you Alicia for your contributions to the group, your great photos, and we look forward to the future investigations that may result from your visit to the Stockyards!

Miss Molly's Bed & Breakfast, Fort Worth TX - May 16, 2008 - We visit Miss Molly's Bed & Breakfast in the Fort Worth Stockyards to meet up with the lovely Innkeeper Donna who tells us her stories and the stories and experiences of those that have stayed at Miss Molly's.  We soak in the atmosphere of this charming B&B and get a taste of what it was like in the days of the old west.  This was a preliminary trip to our investigation that will be booked very soon.  Those in attendance were the founders of Lone Star Paranormal Society, Mike & Shelli, along with LSPS H.O.S.T.S. members Becky, Jonathan & Crystel.  Make sure that you go visit Miss Molly's!  Good Golly You'll Love Miss Molly's Hotel!

Carter Ghost Town, May 11, 2008 - We return to Carter Ghost town to "debunk the debunker" and do a quick informal investigation with Shelli, Becky & Crystel.   We were able to "debunk the debunker" by using the same LED cap light that Jonathon was wearing on our first night visit that was thought to cause the "blue haze" or "blue mist" that we captured on the back outside corner of the church building.  We used both the LED light that he was wearing as well as pointed regular flashlights in the same area and it absolutely could NOT be duplicated with anything that was in our possession the night the photo was taken.  So the "blue mist or haze" goes into the "photos of interest" file.

Oakwood Cemetery, Fort Worth TX - May 11, 2008 - We return to Oakwood Cemetery to find out what may have been the cause of an anomaly in one of the photos from our previous visit.  This was also a H.O.S.T.S. informal investigation with Becky and Crystel.  The photos that we have are contributed by Shelli, Becky & Crystel.  (Photos are color as well as infrared.)

Oakwood Cemetery, Fort Worth TX - May 2, 2008 - What a beautiful cemetery!  Oakwood Cemetery is a registered Texas Historic Landmark.   Since its founding in 1879 by Fort Worth pioneer John Peter Smith, Oakwood has always been Fort Worth's resting place for the notable, the notorious and people from all walks of life.  The sense of history is strong.  With quiet walkways and massive oaks, it is a place of peace and beauty.  A part of the proud history of Fort Worth and Tarrant County.  Don't forget to check out the e.v.p.'s that we captured while visiting Jim "Longhaired" Courtright's resting place on our E.V.P. page!  (Photos are color as well as infrared.)

Carter Ghost Town, April 11, 2008 - This was an informal investigation with Mike, Becky, Jon and Shelli.  We went to Carter to test out the new Infrared Filter for the digital camera.  Although there is nothing that stands out as paranormal, we did manage to get about 200 photos.  We couldn't get as many photos of good quality as we had hoped for because even though the weather was predicted to be clear and sunny, there were some clouds that would block the sun from time to time making it difficult to get quality IR shots.  We will be running another test session soon.

Church - Undisclosed Location, April 11, 2008 - This was an informal investigation with Mike, Becky, Jon and Shelli.  This visit was cut short due to two of the crew not feeling well.  (Not paranormal related!).

Church - Undisclosed Location, April 8, 2008 - This was an informal investigation with Mike, Becky and Shelli.  We had a few personal experiences, temperature fluctuations, orbs in photos and caught moving orbs on video and one seemed to interact with Becky.  This is a church that has been unoccupied for years since it was purchased from the family that ran the church.  They sold it when the preacher had passed away.  It has remained vacant and left as it was including furniture, baby cribs, instruments, books and even the preachers bible left open on the pulpit.  There were no prior reports of activity and this was actually being looked upon as a training location until there was activity noted.  Full report is pending.

Carter Ghost Town After Dark, March 14, 2008 - This was an informal investigation with Mike, Becky, Jon and Shelli.  We had a few personal experiences and caught one specific photo of interest.  We also caught approximately 4 E.V.P.'s.  You can check this out in our video section as well as our E.V.P. page!

Carter Ghost Town, March 13, 2008 - This was a daytime trip that Mike and I (Shelli) took just to make sure that we could find the place.  We were told that it can be very difficult to locate in the dark since there are winding roads that cut off in different directions to get there.  We weren't there for more than an hour and we didn't sense anything threatening, in fact, we felt quite welcome there.  Amazingly, we captured a Class A E.V.P. that was caught on both the video camera as well as the digital recorder.   You can check out our videos and listen to it for yourself!  (Also posted on the E.V.P. page)

Stockyards Station, March 1, 2008 - This was a field trip to Stockyards Station in the Fort Worth Stockyards with Mike, Becky, Jon and Shelli.  We were basically just anxious to get out and try out some new equipment.  The weather and environment were horrible to get any decent evidence but we still wanted to get out there.  If you want to know more about this field trip, you can read about it in the blog.

Texas Plaza (Petrified Wood Gas Station, Cafe & Camphouses), Decatur TX, July 2007 - This place has not been known as a haunted location and we didn't find anything paranormal here.  However, this is a very interesting historical location.  It has been said that Bonnie & Clyde stayed here in one of the cabins while they were on the run.  You can find out more about this location here and here.  I've also included in this set, a photo of The Waggoner Mansion which is located just a few blocks from Texas Plaza.  You can find out more about the mansion here.

Oatman Hotel, Oatman, Arizona - June 2005 - You can learn about the haunted town called Oatman here.  This is the hotel that Clark Gable and Carole Lombard spent their honeymoon.  (You can read about them and The Oatman Hotel here.)   This was an unexpected visit to the town and even though we spent a good portion of a day out there, there were no paranormal experiences to mention but we did have a really great time soaking in the scenery and feeding the wild burros!

Mosier Valley School - 1985 - In the early days of chasing after the paranormal, (and a few times it chased after us!) we spent a number of times at this location.   We had many experiences here with both the living as well as those that have passed on.   At some point I'll write a blog about our adventures there.  You can find out more about this location here.   Here is a link to more current photos of this location here.   There are three photos of the historical marker in this persons photostream.   It appears that they have since torn this school building down.

More to come...
