you hear what sounds like either "Richard Howe" or "Bridgette Howe"

Oakwood Cemetery, Fort Worth, Texas
This one is not as good of quality as the others on this page, however, we felt it was important enough to share.

This was captured a few seconds after I told Mike that Courtright's grave site was supposed to be up toward the front.  Since he was further away from me I had to kind of yell and at the end I said, "That's not the front."  A couple of seconds later we have the following: (sounds like) "You're right, that's not the front." or "That's not the front."

In 1876, "Longhair" Jim Courtright was given the difficult task of policing this roaring cowtown named Fort Worth. With his reputation as a scout, a performer in Wild Bill Hickock's Wild West Show, and possessing a noted dexterity with firearms, Courtright was able to give City Fathers what they wanted--a town where money and liquor flowed, but where bloodshed was cut to a trickle. It was under Courtright that a "police force" was created--the authorization to fill two positions with men to assist him in his duties. A reputation went a long way in those days, and Courtright's reputation with a gun was enough to make many men think twice before trying something that might draw the Marshal's attention. Reportedly as fast or faster than most famous gunmen of his time, Courtright was able to reduce the number of killings in Fort Worth to less than at any time before or since.

"Longhair" Jim Courtright was shot and killed in a gunfight with Luke Short, friend of Bat Masterson, the Earps & Doc Holliday.

Here is a link that tells the story of Jim Courtright as well as Luke Short.
And links to Jim here and here.
And one for Luke Short here.

The following e.v.p.'s were captured while taking photos at his gravesite.

This one was captured as my husband and I approached his resting place to take photos.  You can hear what may be up to 3 people greeting us or 3 attempts by one spirit to greet us.  After listening to it several times, it sounds like the same voice to us on all 3 greetings.
(sounds like) "Hi", "Hello", "Hello"
